As a nonprofit humanitarian
organization, Children International strives to help
children around the world overcome the burdens of
poverty to become healthy, educated, self-sustaining and
contributing members of society.
This goal is achieved primarily
through child sponsorship, which unites children in need
with individual sponsors who wish to address the
children’s immediate and basic needs, and gives them the
tools and opportunities necessary for success.

Habitat for Humanity International is
a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. HFHI
seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from
the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of
conscience and action.
Habitat has built more than 225,000 houses around the
world, providing more than 1 million people in more than
3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter.
HFHI was founded in 1976 by Millard Fuller along with
his wife, Linda.

Food For The Poor is
the second largest international relief organization in
the United States, according to the Chronicle of
Philanthropy; the organization serves the poorest of the
poor in 16 countries throughout the Caribbean and Latin
America. Founded in 1982, Food For The Poor is an
interdenominational ministry that not only provides food
for the starving, but also builds small houses for the
destitute, digs water wells for parched villagers,
provides medicine and medical equipment for the sick and
elderly, supports orphanages and education for children,
and much more.
